Hi everyone,
Siamese Algae Eaters and Endlers: Compatible or not? I'm worried about them being tasty treats for the SAEs. Also, my tank is not live planted, (I'm an artificial kinda girl) and I'm wondering if this is okay for Endlers?
I'm expecting a package in the mail of my new "kids" on Tuesday! There should be 3 pairs of near adult Black Bar Endlers, hopefully with absolutely no DOAs. I've heard a mix of different opinions about SAE's and Endlers-hoping someone has some experience. If there could be problems, I do have another 20g that I could put these guys in but would rather have them in the community.

BTW-the SAE's are confirmed, for sure, the real McCoys just in case you're wondering. I know they can be mistaken with the Flying Fox.

I don't think the SAE is going to be able to catch Endlers adults but the fry settle at the bottom at night to sleep so might be in danger then. I don't have any experience with them together just my thoughts. I have bristlenose with my Endlers and they do great. The BNs don't even bother their fry.
I love the Black Bar Endlers. Mind saying who you got them from? and of course we will need pictures of them when you get them

IMO, SAE's wouldn't really do well with Endler's. You might find missing Endlers if kept with SAE's. Just my opinion.
