Endlers all along?

I have been keeping Endlers all along thinking I was raising Guppies! omg this is funny cause in my LFS they were displayed as Feeder Guppies and I've called them Guppies all my life! Well right now I have 5 Endlers a.k.a. (Guppies) plus a newborn fry that barely came out yesterday! and also a actual Black colored Guppy! I want to know if its bad to crossbreed between these two? or is it perfectly fine?

EDIT: The baby Endler I had died a few days ago due to the fact that I wanted to have the baby with the other Endlers and the other Endlers ended up killing the baby by fin nipping and chasing it to death! The last thing I saw was the baby in another's mouth.

I'd never heard of "endlers" until now; I did a google image search. Sure enough - one of my gups is not a gup! I read that they are also called "endlers livebearers" & "endlers guppies" & they seem to be a subspecies of guppies or closely related . Thanks for your post! Now I know I have one orange sunshine guppy & one snakeskin endler. I'd love to see pics of your endlers!

Edit: Hmmm, I bet my snakeskin is a hybrid; well, he's still lovely!

If they were kept with guppies, they're probably a cross. IMO it's hard to find pure endlers in the LFS.
Many fish keepers are trying to keep endlers pure and not cross bred with guppies.

The reason a lot of hobbyist are trying to keep Ednler strains pure is because their only found in two small places and those two little places are being destroyed.
Here are two places to check Endlers out

Actually when I bought them they were kept only by themselves and in large groups! with no signs of Guppies

It's called progress. Their habitat is being polluted from building and expansions of population.

I can buy them from the other forum for just the price of shipping (10$) but i dont really wanna do that. I wish I could find them around here

Most tht you find arent pure, but they are all still so pretty to look at.
