Hybrid Snake ,Peacock Endlers livebearer

I just bought 6 pairs of these lil beautys! I'm so freaking excited. Our LFS (we only have 2) have never even heard of them. They give birth (live bearers) every 23 days and are endangered in the wild. Due to mans destruction of their natural habitat. Anyone else here keeping any of these lil fishes? If so, talk to me please.

I had 4...returned 3 (couldn't catch one of the females). She has dropped fry in my tank and I'm pretty excited actually watching them grow up.

I have a 29gallon with nothing in it except black bar endlers. I have 5 treos and about 20 fry. Here is what they look like:

Are yours pure endler or are they a hybrid (crossed with a guppy)? There are so many cool variations of this fish .

Their pure! The breeder is ever so diligent about not cross breeding them with guppies. He also has rare wild caught.

Cool .

What are you feeding them? I feed mine decapsulated brine shrimp eggs and micropellets primarily. They get frozen daphnia and blood worms (cut up) as a treat. They love algae wafers too. You can see a video I shot of mine eating an algae wafer in post #37 of this thread.

That's a nice looking male . How long have you been keeping them? Are tigers hybrids?

I have had mine about a month. I have 20+ fry ranging from a couple of hours old to 3 weeks old. From what I have read they can be sexed at 3-5 weeks old so I should be able to see what I have soon .

How big are tigers? Just curious if they take more after guppies or endlers. I don't know that much about hybrids .
