| Breeding Like Crazy I keep alot of LBs (platies, mollies, swords & endlers) ... but I have to say, it is my experience that these endlers are non-stop crazy breeders. I have my set in a 10 gallon and it seems like every day I see another swollen abdomen, even the fry look like they are swollen with fry... its crazy! I love it, but its crazy!
I would recommend these fish to anyone who just loves the LB experience! |

| Once shipping season starts again, we need to do some trading.
We shipped so many out that all we have left are virgin females. |

| Some shops carry them.
There are always some on www.aquabid.com.
Several folks have them on this board. |

| yep their the rabbit of the fishie world all right.
As for buying them unless you get them from a reputable person that knows what they have bred their Endlers with you may get Endler/guppy crossbreeds and they aren't as brightly colored or as hardy.

| I dont keep my endlers in my LB tank as I do not want to dilute the strain. I have a seperate 10g setup for them. And, hoo-boy, are they taking advantage of the species specific tank! |

This is one of those fish in my opinion that needs to be passed from hobbyist to hobbyist to make sure they stay pure.
Dave LOL I think the little males are born ready

| lol, they sure are! we got ours from a local breeder at the fish auction. we weren't planning on buying them then, but couldn't resist. I'd have to ask the exact strain at the next meeting, since i just remember something about 1982 venezulan N. Quote:

Endlers are such awesome fish...I'm hoping to get ahold of some sometime soon (once I have some money.... ) |

| Most people say their endlers don't eat their fry. Or do you have them in a tank with other fish? |

| yea, i read the mothers sometimes eat a few, but that the fry are relatively safe compared to guppies, mollies and platys. I'm glad to hear that the fry-eating is less than that even. Quote:
