if you dont have the money to medicate her then the best thing you can do for her that may work just as well as medication is to keep her water as clean and clear as possible and to give her vitamin enriched food in her diet, doing this will streathen her body and help her fight off infections and desiese. if you have more questions just let me know and good luck. hope she gets better soon.

if you have a quarentine tank to move her into that would be great but if not you could see if they make dividers for your size tank and as i said before give her the best water possible. im afraid i cant tell you more at the moment but i'll do some reaserch and see what i can find. untill then good luck.

I am sorry your fish isn't feeling well. Yup, that's what happend, got stressed out and that is an open door for disease. Sounds like she might have fn-rot now. Being wounded can bring that on. Secondary infection of cottony growth on fins, it's a fungus/bacterial infection. I have used Jungle Fungus Clear Tank Buddies, also treats bacterial infections, works great. And it's inexpensive. You need to have something on hand for this kind of thing. Keeping water clean and using Stress Coat sometimes may not be enough. That's my opinion. Good luck!

if you cant find one you could buy a small cheap tank with filter add media from your tank and water and put her in that.

thats good to hear but before you release her from protection you might want to add some hiding spots for her so she dosnt get picked on as much.

yes ive been adding some hiding spots where only she will able to get in and keep other fish out but it might not help as when i got home the tank decorations were completely out of place plastic plants floating so they might just knock everything out of their way
