electric yellow?

is this an electric yellow ? i have two others i know are but this one looks just a bit different to me. it has no black at all on it. the other two ,one has alot of black on both the top and bottom fins and one has just a little bit of black on the top fin.

That kind of looks like a zebra .... electric yellow labs have the black on the tip of the fins.

It could be a yellow lab which has not produced any coloring on top yet or a hybrid Lab & estherae or just a estherae

when sold was it labeled as a yellow lab?

it was in a tank being sold as mixed african cichlids. maybe i can get a clearer picture.

That is def a red zebra (m esthrae). The labs at not even 1/4 an inch long will already have the black line on the dorsal fins.

Thanks Angela, I thought it looked different than the other yellow labs. Can you tell if its a male or female?

From coloration I am thinking male, I would need a closer pic to really tell.

most likely red zebra but some male colour in electric labs look like that

The fish has no black on it at all. THere is no species of yellow lab that is completly yellow w/o black.
If they are sold like that as yellow labs, they are hybrids or miss labeled.
