No.120 liters equal 30 gallon which is not enough room for electic yellow cichlids much less for 10. I would go with a community or something else. I'm not such, but I think you can't have many yellow cichlids together.

You are off on this one. I have kept 15 full grown fish in a 33 and they were fine. Labs are not aggressive like some of the other Malawi species.
In a 30g you can have 8-10 labs...why? The more fish in the tank it spreads out the aggression. Malawi cichlids need over crowding as long as you do lots of water changes and have extra filtration.
1 male to 2-3 females. I'd go with 8 in a 30g 2 males and 6 females.

In the article is say 40gs at least but 30g is due able.

Normal rules don't apply to Malawi cichlids and a lot of cichlids. Most people here haven't kept Malawi cichlids. I have been into them for 2.5 yrs and learned from my mistakes and what you can get away with.
Here's my 33g with 4 yellow labs and my blue hap pair when I had them. Lots of room for tankmates. I wouldn't normally put blue haps in a 30g but we had no choice...they get 6-7" and all these fish were full grown.

Go for it...I wouldn't get species that get bigger than 5 inches each tho.
Yellow labs get 4-5" at the most from my experience...so you can try 8-10 labs or two species with 1 male 2-4 females. I f you get babies they will show their sex eventually. I must have miss that post you made.
Yellow labs are compatible with a lot of the smaller species like afra species who most get 3.5" big.

We use crush coral to bring up the pH. How many gallons is the tank? A four foot should be fine.
