I got my Dwarf Gourami that I've been wanting

I know, I know. Some of you are probably thinking "not another one." I saw the thread on that virus that these guys seem to be getting. I got my beauty from my LFS. They are pretty good with how they take care of their livestock. They constantly check for water problems. They also will not sell from a tank that shows any sign of illness or deaths. Not til it's in the clear. They are also pretty knowledgable on the fish, aquariums, even cycling of the tanks. But anything is possible. So if anything happens I'll be sure to let you know. But I could not resist an opportunity to get one.

That's great! Not many LFS are so caring and commited like yours. So lucky! Hope your new arrivals do great! Good luck!

Thanks everyone. Blue as I call her (I think it's a girl, as described from an article I read on how to tell the sex) is so far doing great. She's very active. I don't know if it's her presence or not but, even my Red Eye Tetra's are swimming around more often. Blue is a picky eater though. She likes the shrimp pellets but, not flake food. I'm going to look for something more and different for her to eat though. I leave Tues for three weeks vacation and my parents will be fishy sitting and I want to be stocked up on supplies for the fishies.

Do Gouramis like to hide in caves? Blue seems to like to hide under a rock formation I have in the tank.
