keep up with his daily water changes and prime....thats going to make a huge difference for all the fish...and bide you some time until you can get a test kit(which is needed really bad so you know where your tank stands) ...great job!

I have a test kit. I've been using API (ammonia, nitrate, nitrite, and pH).

I'm sorry he isn't improving.
What are your readings today?

I only had the chance to change his water before I rushed to work but he seemed to have improved. He was swimming around the tank and I think his eyes have gone in a bit.

It has been 6 days since little bloaty has eaten. Today is the 5th day of maracyn treatment. I think he's less bloated and his eyes have gone in a bit. Do I still continue with maracyn? I have also witnessed him swimming around and majority of the time he's situated midtank and not at the bottom as I would normally expect with fishes suffering from dropsy.

With Maracyn II I know the directions say you can dose again but I'm not sure what you're treating for other than bloat?
Getting your tank cycled will go a long way to making him feel better.
