I have a 20g tank with 3 swords 2 mollie and 1 DG. My swords and mollies are very greedy . They tend to eat all the food off the top when I drop it in the tank. My DG tends to hang back and wait until it floats in the water. Not much if any food drops down. My DG gets little to no food. I am feeding staple flakes and blood worms. Any ideas? I feel bad for the poor hungry little guy.

I'm thinking that if the DG is new to the tank, give him some time to fit in and get into the grove of getting his own food.

Ok I'll wait, this is only day three. He seems intrested in getting the food. He just isn't as fast as the others. I just feel so bad for him - he trys

Do you have a divider or something?
You don't have to actually install it, just seperate the dg from the others at feeding time.

Hi Lucy, I considered that already. I haven't got a divider. I may have to do that. I am gonna wait a bit thou. He came to the top with the others this morning then he "chickened" out and went back to the middle. He may figure it out yet. I am hoping he does. If not I with have to separate them when I feed them. Which I will need advice on how to do that and what would be a good thing to separate them with. He is getting some food so he is not starving. I am keeping a close eye on the situation.
