Hi all,

Over the past couple of weeks I have noticed that my female Gourami has slowly got bigger and bigger.

Initially I thought she was just carrying eggs but now she looks like she looks more like a golf ball with flippers and doesn't swim around much.

Normally temperature is 27-28c. Its been set up since Sept 08.

I have 3 angels, 22 tetra (11 flame, 11 cardinal) 1 red tail black shark, 2 clown loaches, 4 corys, 2 L333 plecs, 2 dwarf Gourami (1 male, 1 female) in a 270 litre tank.

No other fish are sick so I think its just the Gourami that is either very pregnant or sick. What's the best way to tell which she is?

what are the readings for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate? do you have a pic of her? she could be bloated and a piece of frozen pea thawed and shelled, could help her alot...but make sure shes getting it and not the others...
