Well, I guess it's the iridovirus, no more Gouramis for me. Both my neon blue and red flame gouramis died today. Both were alive and eating this morning, the blue was dead when I got back from class, the red was dead when I got back from work this evening. They went into the tank in mid-August and have been doing fine, this is totally random. I've only had 2 other losses in the tank, 2 albino cories that died the day after I got them, otherwise, no fish have died til now.
None of my other fish died: angelfish, neon tetras, or corydoras.
What could I replace them with that would provide the same color and activity, while only adding 6" total length. I was thinking of taking my female
betta out of her half of the split 10 gallon and getting another male, but that would still leave me with 3", maybe another loach?
