Hey guys just got a new dwarf Gourami and I'm acclimating him right now. Would he be fine with my swordtail and molly?

what size tank, it should be ok gouramis can be a little mean at times but so can mollys and swordtails

It's a ten gallon. I just noticed my swordtail nipping at him. What's worong?

Yeah gouramis can be aggressive at times. Usually just bullies though,remove it if it starts taking of scales or fin nipping.

It's not the gourami it's the swordtail. I don't have any place to put it if there's fin nipping.

if he keeps it up, take them all out and put them into a bucket of water from your tank, switch the tank decorations around, and put the gourami back in first..wait a bit and put the swordtail after

somtimes fish might act that way towards eachother and eventulay stop if you notice the behavior continue afer you do what shanie siad i would watch and if it continues make sure the gourami doenst get to beaten up
