but the guy at the fish store told me they were semi aggresive and would eat my other fish. Is this true? I thought the dwarfs were considered peaceful? I want to complete my tank with this fish since they look so beautiful.

Hi Lisamommy..they can be territorial...but just buy one thats very small and switch the tank decorations around periodically...I have 3 and they just compete with eachother and leave all the other fish alone ....

Hi there, looking over your list of fish you have, I can say that the d. gourami would not bother your fish. I have had a number of them with assorted fish and they never bothered anyone. I really have never heard of a d.gourami eating other fish.
But looking at your stock of fish in your 22g I think that if you added a d. gourami you would be overstocked, as you do have quite a few fish in that tank already.
