I purchased two powder blue gouramis from pets mart about a week or two ago recently one of them died 3 days ago they both look like there gasping for air since day one. The Other one is still alive and seems to be healthy but looks like its panting or gasping for air.
I tested my water today and this is what it read.
PH 7.6 Ammonia 0 ppm Nitrite 0 ppm

Does anyone know what is causing this?

Its a Aquarium pharmasuticals master test kit. IM pretty sure its accurate.

You didn't mention the nitrate level, what is that?

Have you done any water changes? How much and how often?

What is the temperature?

Do the gills appear red?

Is this fish eating?

He is eating and the panting hass almost completley stopped my tank water being crystle clear and well balanced i did a 25% water change he seems to be doing much greater.
