Dwrf Gourami Tank mates in a 10 gal?

what would be some good tank mates for a dwarf gourami in a 10 gal. tank? Maybe a betta and some other fish like tetras? or maybe a couple guppies? Also, please tell your suggestions.

Gouramis and Bettas are not a good match, especially in that confined area. Our 29 gallon has a dwarf gourami and lives peacefully with mollies, platies, zebra tetras, and guppies. We had von rio tetras in with it but the the von rios were fin nippers. I think the choice should be yours though. Guppies are colorful, two females and a male maybe. Tetras can be spunky, but I hear need about 6 for happiness. I have three and they hang out together. My four year old has green tetras with his gourami and a platinum molly and they cohabitate fine. That's my two cents.

I dont want any babies, so i think that Maybe just one dwarf and some guppies? I have also been thinking about a betta and guppies, but people say that they don't work out well together, so i thought dwarf and guppies. thanks.

If it matters, guppies eat their young, so babies are hard to raise in a general population tank. I have to quarantine my fry in those little plastic breeders. We have seven fry right now.

If you do not want any fry then I would not get guppies. When you introduce a female to a male the female will get pregnant in 5 minutes lol. Or you could always just get all males and no females.

1 dwarf and a few guppies will work out though. I would not put a betta in with a dwarf though.

Hi!

Never mix Bettas and Dwarfs. Although tey look totally different to our eyes - Bettas certintely disagree with us! I'd go for a Male and female pair in a 10 gallon.
