Hi Jack, are you sure you have a female in the tank with those males? The females are much more plainer looking without all the colors of the male. The 'kissing' I believe is a nip.. and not a kiss on the side.

Ok thats what i thought, its two females and one male, and yes the colours are way less vivid, (blue and grey) compared to my male (blue and orange). Maybe she is just a bully.

Ok the larger female has continued to chase and peck at both the other female and my male, is there anything i can do to stop her doing this?

Hi Jack, sorry to hear that your having problems with your female gourami.
Its just the way it is with some fish. My only suggestion is to take back the aggressive female and get another one and see how it goes.

Unfortunately i can't i bought her and my other gourami from a major LPS chain and they have a no refund policy. btw i bought them there because they are the healthiest looking gourami in my area aswell as being the only ones to be split into male/female groups. Any other thoughts on what i can do?

I think your male gourami is a pansy. In all seriousness, I would add more dwarf gouramis to the tank. It will divert the agression among a larger number and will most likely reduce it.

Just in the last few days the male has finally become the head of the group and all is back in order.
