i got full size 3 pot gourami and dwarf gourami and i want to breed them.
but i dont know the sex of my dwarf gourami.
Which is the best season to make them breed
Which tank of (24"L x 12"B x 15"H) OR (18"L x 12"B x 15"H) enuf to breed them

do you have photos of the dwarf cause if its more grey than orange/blue/red then its probably a female.

yea 1 is little smaller and has less colour. the other is 2.5" and has bright red colour

yer i would say that you have a female and a male, sorry i dont no muh about breeding them but good luck!

but wat bout the breeding season for gourami? right now its the start of winter season in India....but does it really matter

and yea is it like i have 2 make them breeding by taking off the male n female in a seperate tank or the female will have a enlarged belly and i'll come to know that she is goin to lay legs.....can any1 tell me everything in detail

i don't know a lot about gourami since we've not had them, but i believe the males are more colorful than females and they are bubblenesters. i'll move this thread to the gourami forum to see if our gourami owners have more answers for you.
