I found some nice pieces of driftwood from the beach and want to put it in my freshwater tank. Would this be a bad idea since I got the wood from the beach? Is there something special to do to get the salt out? Thanks.

You can find some really awesome pieces on the beach.

there were some great piece at the beach. i live in florida so when the hurricanes pass they toss some excellent pieces on the beach.

Oh, I bet! When I lived near the shore I loved to walk the beach to see what could be found.
