Some driftwood I found! (plus a few other pics)

I found a few pieces of pretty cool driftwood.

I love this piece, taken in front of my nitrate induced flowers. lol

These 3 smaller pieces are nice also. The picture doesn't do the one on the left justice. It's like tunnel.
I've got them soaking and they still need scrubbing.

Thanks.
I tried to upload a couple more, but I'm getting an error.

Tony, thank you! The large piece is for my 55. The scenery is beautiful, yes, it's near my house.

Thanks Ken, I like the tunnel peice, I'm thinking about putting it in the cory tank but I fear I may never see them again. lol

Here's another view of the river.

You can't really see them but there are turtles sunning themselves on the log accross the river.

Hope there's no snakes!

Only if you leave your garbage or dog food outside. lol
They're nocturnal so I rarely see them out during the day.

ya racoons are cute but if you see one in your garage at 6am. My mom wanted me to take out the trash. I went into the garage and heard a thunk. I ran inside and my mom said it was nothing so i went back out and opened the garage. a racoon jumped up from my moms car to the garage door then fell down to the floor and scurried out of the garage. another time one ran out and got stuck in the cat door, it tore half the cat door off.

one time i was taking out the trash and a squirrel jumped at me when i opened the lid. The next day, i threw the garbage away on the trash can next to it so that it wouldnt happen again, and guess what happened?!?!? he jumped at me again from the other trash can..

ok, sorry for going off topic lucy!

Thanks Matt

The large piece might take up too much room in the big tank but it'll look awesome in the garden

Lucy, those are some awesome pieces of wood! I wish there were places by me where I could find some. The river is gorgeous. Being in the middle of the city, I really crave being out in nature. I used to go camping and hiking all the time as a kid, and your pics bring back those memories

It's very shallow water, right in the middle is a little minnow.

Oh wow LOL. That was funny, even after you told me it was shallow water, it takes me a while to see it , the shadow of the fish gave it away. Now that's what i call crystal clear water
