What you guys think?

So I got this wood about 4 months ago when I had my knee surgery out of a pile of trees that were taken down on a property and look like they were there for about a year already. The branch was longer I cut this pieces with an ax and I have another one but is just straight piece. The wood look like it was Oak looking at the bark that had on. The bark was already falling so that was a good indication of the wood been dry. I cut this piece a week ago and set it on the old kids pool and every few days I go and scrub it a little bit. I have to do another cut to fit it on the 55 but so far so good looks like there is not resin coming out so looks like my guess on the oak was right. I drilled a few holes to put some plants and helping the water to get in the wood and finally sink. So any ideas from you guys?

Hey the cat broke it so why not. We let the pool full with water I even put the chlorine powder in it and a few days later I had about thousands of polywags in the pool. So I picked the leaf net and moved them into an old cooler which now houses all this little ones. I flip the pool down and the cat used to sharpen his claws. So it has a few holes. So I decided to use it and my oldest daughter saw the pool she said "Daddy there's a stick in the pool" That's a big stick.

I wonder if anybody has a microwave small enough for it?

Uhh. I probably put a 40 lb concrete brick or some like it.

nice piece of wood Riv,
but it does seem pretty large an thick. Have you an estimate on the weight of that wet? Just be real careful.... can it be too heavy for the tank?

It actually don't weight that much. I had more weight in that tank with the rocks when I had it with the cichlids on it.
