The bog wood is so called as it has aged in a bog, there tannins from the peat have interacted with the wood and now they are leeching back into your tank.

Have you got past the stage where your tank water is turning a tea colour? If so the changes should be subtle and slow so if you are doing weekly PWC then the wood should not be affecting your PH.

If it is you could always add a nice seashell to the tank as an ornament and then it will counteract any changes the wood is making.

i soak the blog wood for day to get the brown stuff out till the water stayed clear well two pices i did that way the other i put in the second day and i ddid not soak that one but the other two i did and my water is clear not brown at all so i am really at a loss as to why my ph is droping cause my tap water is 7.4 to 7.8 and other resons why it would be droping?

it's still the driftwood most likely, depending on the wood it can take time for your tank to actually be discolored, but that's still the cause IMO. i'd try removing the driftwood, doing a water change, wait a week or so, and then see if your levels are still dropping

Bogwood and driftwood whilst outwardly the same are 2 different thing as the conditions that created them are completely different

Bogwood is created in Peat bogs where the composition of the wood is aftected by imersion in Peat and acidic compunds http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bog_oak

Driftwood is wood that has drifted either in salt or freshwater for a considerable period of time and has had a completely different set of organisms work on its conversion, http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Driftwood

Bogwood is more likely to lower the PH of a tank than driftwood will.
