Pothos On Driftwood ?

I'm going to set up a goldfish tank, i understand GF are hard on plants so i'm thinking about attaching pothos to a piece of driftwood ;planted verticaly , i think some free floating shoots would look pretty good. Is this a good plant choice? Thanks

Never tried pothos, but Anubias grows GREAT on driftwood, to the point that its much faster if you leave it there than if you bury it in gravel. Dunno about that plant though

If you're talking about the pothos house plant...they root very well and continue to grow in nothing but water. As long as they aren't completely submerged they should do well and grow toward light. Good luck. Let us know how it works if you decide to try it.

Well we'll see. I thought i might be able to submerge it but if i can't then it wouldn't be a choice, but i will float some for my gouramis, It's been havoc since i removed an overgrown huge lotus. Looking back i iwsh i just centered that beauty up and put wisteria in the corners with spotlights. * still looking for planting suggestions for GF tank.
