I have a thirty gallon (completely cycled) with 1
betta, 5 neon tetras, 6 pristella tetras, 5 cories (1 spotted, 4 albino), 4 kuhli loaches, 2 dojo loaches, 1 Chinese algae eater, 1 dwarf African frog, and a large snail.
About one week ago one of my dojos jumped out of my tank. he was out of the water for an unknown length of time since I wasn't home at the time. When I found him he wasn't so much damp as just sticky with debris stuck to him. I put some water from the aquarium in a large pitcher and placed him in it to rinse him off. then put him back in the tank. Thankfully he has survived and seems fine now. Only thing is he has developed a mottled coloration where he was once mostly gray. he has several lighter colored patches of skin. the do not appear fuzzy, or cottony like a fungus though. I am unsure what, if anything, I should do for him. Please, any suggestions would be greatly appreciated
