They are supposed to be hardy and able to adjust to the tropical water temperature and aren't fussy.
Dunno whether to think about getting another or not......?
Any ideas.....

Hi Sabi,
sorry to hear about your loach..

they are such kewl fish. its so hard to try to understand why a fish that seems healthy suddenly dies. Even with the perfect water conditions, compatible tank mates etc etc, there still will be deaths in the tank. Dont forget these are " in captivity " fish.. and it just happens sometimes without our having done something wrong. I just lost my bumblebee catfish as well, the water was fine the other fish are fine and yet... it happens. Dont give up on the loachs and if you had the room for it and liked the species, then try again!
