yikes! hmmm... make sure he drinks ALOT of water. There are natural oils in their food so they could process it... this might sound bad, but maybe purging him? it can help, but it could cause some other symptoms like dehidration and being lethargic...
I dont know what to suggest...

poor thing :/ you'd think frying oil would taste bad but if you haven't already taken her to the vet ... the 2nd thing that comes to mind is to induce vomit. You want it out of her system.

how could you induce vommiting? some sort of food... or laxatives to get it out
its not like you can stick your finger in their throat and wait for it to happen like it does for us... This is frustating!!!

There some sort of method used, I personally have never had to do this with my own dog (luckily not ever) but google it or maybe someone else here might know.

The only thing I can suggest is that your dog drinks lots of water. You might want to call the vet and ask for some advice.

Hello jrod. Sorry to hear the pup may not be feeling too well. I have a feeling it will pass through naturally. A vets advice would be good
Keep us posted.

If it hasnt happened already, the oil will work as a natural laxative anyway no need to induce anything. It will all come out in the end... <lol> Dogs have gotten into worse and survive just fine.

Oh your poor puppy! I would definitely call a vet and at least ask his or her opinion. And I'm afraid your pup is gonna have some serious *ahem* for a couple days. You may want to keep her quarantined to one room with easily washed floors in case she can't make it outside in time.

Take away her normal food and just feed her plain cooked rice for a day or two. It will help to absorb all the extra oils in her stomach and intestines. It will probably cause a "bit" of intestinal discomfort, but she should be okay. Call your vet and see what they say. Eating just the rice and having lots of clean water to drink should help her to get back on an even keel. If she doesn't drink enough water, she could become dehydrated. If you don't think she is drinking enough, you could try a very diluted chicken or beef broth. Boil a couple of bones in some water and let cool. No salt or seasonings at all, just the plain bones in lots of water. Once it is cooled, you should be able to skim off any fats. If it gels (like normal broth likes to) then you need to add more water. You just want enough of the flavor of the meat so she will want to drink it, but not enough to disturb her innards any more than they already are. If she turns up her nose at the rice, you could use the diluted broth to cook the rice in also, or just pour it over some of the rice.
