I had been dating this guy for nearly two years and we had talked about getting a dog.* One weekend, he went on a hunting trip out to a village and just happened to see an add for free puppies.* Originally, he had his eye on an all black dog, and his second choice was the largest of the litter (mainly white with dark ears & side burns)... we got the big one - he's half husky, half wolf. We named him "Bonz" (bones), he's going on six and is about 75 lb.s.
Few years ago, my mom was looking for a dog, so I went to the pound(s) and adoption/rescue places around the area.* I found an eight week old mutt/mix, he looked like a lab/chow mix.* I adopted him for my parents and ended up keeping him!* His name is "Tommy". He's approximately 50 lb.s.* Both dogs are spoiled. They're great companions though. I've always loved dogs. My favorite was a chihuahua I had in H.S. named "fifi" she lived to be almost nine.* When I first saw her, she was eight weeks old, sleeping on a hotwater bottle in a bird cage that was on a counter of a pet store.
I have a pomarainum. She's 2 1/2 years old now. She is the daughter my husband and I never had ( we have 4 boys between us) Needless to say, she is spoiled more and any grandchild ever was. Which I don't have any of those yet.
my mom and stepfather have too Ratteriors... they have totally different body stlyes one is part wippet and the other is part bull dog or something... they aren't related but both females and we love them
my father who i dont live with and stepmother have a Wippet... dumb and slumsy, but fast and a very loving dog... a boy and about a year old... cool looking colors i suppose..
i use to have at one time a german shepard (we had to put it to sleep b/c of hips, and various cancers).... also my father had a boiler-collie (wow i know i mispelled that one but im too tired to check it)... it was hit by speeding car but my first dog i loved...
Ah Luper we used to have a rottweiler called Luper I thought my Dad was the strongest man in the world cos he could carry her around in his arms. Apparently when I was born she wouldn't leave my side and she would pine when i was at school. They're such good dogs!
I have these 3 rescue pooches!* Hope you enjoy the pics!
Rascal-10 year old chessie
Gracie-4 year old chihuahua/pug mix
Cassie-dachshund/jack russell mix
I love all the pictures.* I cannot have a dog but I do love them.* My sister has a dog (half Jack Russell/half Dingo)* It is a really weird dog but I love him.* I have a friend who brought her new pup over the other day and I think I have adopted her (Chloe).* I am attaching a couple pictures of her because she is as close as I come to a dog of my own.
I am very proud to be owned by an American Staffordshire Terrier (Buddy).* He's a rescue, and one of the most incredible dogs I've ever known / owned (besides my Dobe, Saber, who now lives with my ex). Even though the first several months of his life were terrible, he has turned out great. He's my "shot-gun rider" in the car, walking companion, bed-hog, and thinks he is a lap dog even though only his rear end fits in my lap. I wouldn't trade him for anything!
Well from smallest to biggest... 2 toy poms, 1 of something no one really knows what she is but shes very pretty, 5 Jack Russel Terriors, so so so so so so so so so NAUGHTY, but too cute! 3 standard "Lassie" Collies, tan in colour, 1 Black Collie, 1 Blue Collie - for all the sheep - about 8 or 9. And my 5 year old German Shorthaired Pointer - Shaddow, he is so good with children and has a beautiful personality! thats about it, will let you know when i get home if my husband has rescued any more! By the way, live on a farm... lots of space.
i had a papichon - half papillon / half bichon frise he was so fluffy but we had to give him to my aunt cause we couldn't train him right and he didn't get along well with our cats. Sad , Sad day i miss him terrible! and its been months! Miley
I have a minature schnauzer to he's names taj he almost 2 years old he mainly black and a bit of grey on his legs and beard he's really cute we took him to the vet today he a bite from some sort of insect Callum!
I had a pure beed Lasa Apso (or however you spell it) that had unusual colors for that species. We had to put him down the beginning of November in 2005. He was 14 and blind and deaf and had a disease called Addisons Disease.
