I have 2 pitbulls, I think its funny, they're worlds apart, one is an older female, not sure exactly how old she is but I've had her about 4-5 years and she was a couple years old when I got her and she is big, fat and incredibly lazy and calm (especially for a pitbull), the other is a male whos a little over a year old and hes small, always full of energy and always running around causing mayhem heres some pix

The older female (name is Angel):

The young male (name is Luie):

Both of them when I first got the young one:

I used to breed staffordshire bull terriers but we have an 11month old rottweiller called Rueben. Stubborn as you like.

What adorable, smoochable pooches! I'm very experienced with dogs... fish, not so much.

I've had at least two Bouvier des Flandres for the last 16 years but have literally always had a dog of one breed or another all my life.

My girl Rilla will be 6 on December 1. I kept two puppies from her one and only litter who are almost 17 months old, a male and a female, Rico and Ziva respectively. Rilla has her very own cat, Fred. Fred's brother, Stub, lives in the house too and we have a barn cat named Amelia.

This is Rilla with her cat, Fred.

Can you post a side shot of her? She looks very much like my Giant Schnauzer Hagan.

Your boy is very handsome! Being more involved with the working dog world I think of them as Riesenschnauzers.

Bouvs and RS have some common ancestry. Which breed influenced which changes depending on whether you are talking to a bouv or RS person. LOL Bouvs tend to be heavier boned than RS. My girl is from straight working lines (no show breeding behind her at all) and is smaller and weighs less than what is seen in the show ring currently.

These photos were taken when we were in Illinois for breeding in April 08. She's 24" at the withers and weighs about 65#.

Thanks guys, she's my best girl... my "heart dog". Rilla and Fred do have a great relationship. Fred is the only animal from whom Princess Rilla will accept the slightest degree of disrespect. They are very, very cute together.

Rachel, you are probably more correct than not. Whenever Fred and his brother have a disagreement, Rilla is right there to protect him. Her big nose shoved between them ends any altercation. Then she has to sniff him all over and perhaps clean his ears. LOL
