What dogs dream about. I really am interested in what they dream about. Has anybody else ever wondered that. Do they dream about their owners? Do they dream about their sibings? My 2 dogs dream A LOT and they show it too. I'm always observing them either whining, growling, barking, kicking their legs, twitching, etc. I often wonder if they dream about each other chasing one another or fighting over something. Or if they are trying to protect us from something or someone. Has anyone else ever observed their dog dreaming? I must say it is quite funny to watch. Natalie
LOL, I'd love to know what they dream about too! Believe it or not, cats dream as well. Many times when I observe my cats in their sleep, they'll move their paws, ears, whiskers, they'll make weird sounds, lol, and they'll twitch too, haha I am 100% certain they dream during these times. I also wonder what about?
Yeah it really does peek my interest as to what they dream about. As far as we humans are concerned we usually dream about what goes on in that particular day or if there something going that's serious in ones life your subcontious mind will dream about something that has happened or of the person that it's happening too and not necessarily about the even that's happening. Animals though I mean really they don't have such an eventfull life. All they do is eat, sleep, play, and potty all day, so what could they possibly dream about. Maybe the next time I go to the vet I'll ask the dr. They would probably know I hope.Natalie
All animals dream, i've seen cows, birds, dogs cats all twitch etc in their sleep. I wonder if fish also dream.... When you switch the room light on early in the morning they all look so sleepy!
Yeah I know that fish sleep. RJ gets in this real heavy trance and there's been times that I've scared the out of him when I turn his light on. I don't know if they dream though. They might. I know that they have good memories. Natalie
Oh I think because the range of different experiences they live is more narrow than ours means that each experience is a huge deal for them. I think it's really eventful in a dog's mind to have been for a walk that day.

Yeah that's very true. Taking my dogs for a walk is a very big deal to them since they don't get out much. Pretty much anything we do with them though is a big deal with them. They are such hams. I really love watching them dream. It's just the cutest thing. Natalie
