| using glass bottles *Please, no drinking jokes*
This may be a dead-end idea, but is it somehow (or anyhow) possible to use empty class wine bottles in relations to fish tank design, or fuction, or anything else like that?
Thanks |

| If you can boil them to keep them clean, no decals or stickers on them, and the fish cant get stuck in the opening either on the way in, or able to get out, yes you can .... |

| I took an old pickle jar, removed the stickers and glue, and boiled it. I put it in my tank where the opening of the jar was at the aquarium gravel level and the back was below the gravel and on the bottom of the tank, thus putting it at an upward angle. Then I covered the exposed portion of the jar with gravel to make a very nice and cheap cave! |

| I used Corona bottles in tanks before. Never boiled, always had the label on. Didn't have any problems. Though Corona labels are typically put straight onto the bottle. |
