My Aqua-tech 30-60 OTB filter (came with used tank) doesn't have the bio-fiber (the never-needs replacing thingy).
1. Does anyone know a way to make a substitute? I've never even seen it, so I don't know where to begin.
2. Is this something I NEED or can I start running the filter without it (using just the normal replacement cartridge) and then stick the bio-fiber one in later as soon as I find/make it?
Thanks.
Btw I found this
DIY filter cartridges fot penguin&emperor & I'm definitely going to use these ideas after my replacement filters are old. So cool!
