I'm playing with ideas as I've been working in the set-up of my first Nano
SW. I am placing eight F20T8 lamps in a custom built lamp assembly that will hang around 8" over the open tank top. I was considering building a
DIY lamp assembly for the rear wall with horizontally placed, simmetrically spaced, blinds and reflect the light of the lamps through a slightly angled mirror with the intention (no idea if it would work well) of producing the effect of rays of underwater sunlight. If this works I could begin and end the light cycle with this indirect ligths on and enter the strong direct lighting some time later.
Please give me your feedback on this. I exaggerated the expected effects with the tools Paint provided me. The original design is on Google Sketch.
