just finished my multi tank stand

hi all.

just a quick thread to show off my new stand.
I defo think that I have a major case of MTS, I already have two tanks and aquired another today (see betta thread).

I intend to get another larger one come pay day and hopefully a few more over the next few months.

here is the stand, Its made of 3x2 and ply. I started yesterday and finished about two hours ago. Ive just finished giving its first coat of varnish. I very pleased with the outcome considering Im not the best a woodwork.

Its just over 3 feet long and 1 1/2 feet wide. Im hoping to get either 2x 2 foot tanks on there with a few small ones or maybe a 3 foot one if I can find one with the head clearence.

Thats cool!
That looks like a good option for us to build! I need one and the iron stand scare me having small children.

Great work you did there!

Two "wide" tanks would look good there (e.g. Perfecto 30Breeder: 30"Lx18"Wx13"H.)

hi all

Yesterday I finished setting up two new tanks for the rack.
I managed to get a 90L tank for the bottom shelf and setup a small 21L tank for the top shelf. Im going to leave the top shelf for smaller tanks such as betta tanks and or QT / Breeding Tanks.

Here are a few photo's of the tanks so far. The first one is the 90L with both day lights and moon lights. the second on is the smaller 21L tank that I will be using for a male betta. This one at the moment only has a moon light and the other photo is shot using the light in my room. I am waiting for the silicone to dry on the daytime light (small LED Light)

I have a nice section of drift wood that I have boiled three times and is currently soaking to remove as much of the tanning as possible, I am hoping to attach some the poss that I already have in the tank(christmas moss) or maybe get some java moss and attach that.

The 90L tank still looks a bit bare at the moment so Im hoping once the drift wood is in, it will look a lot better. If anyone has any suggestions as to how to improve either of them then feel free to comment

thanks all
