how to repair glass top

I have a bow tank with a glass top. There is actually 2 seperate tops seperated by a divider as it is a 72 gal tank. I hope you understand what i mean LOl. Anyways, the one side of the tops has come out of the plastic insert hinge. Do i use silicone to put it back together? The pic is similar to the one side.

can't you just slide it back in? Mine are pressure fitted...otherwise silicone would work as an adhesive.

Same comment as Tavel: Can't you just squeeze it back in?
