My "MTS Therapeutic" Tank stand!! ;)

Well ive had 3 other tanks in the garage for a while now and the "syndrome" has been knocking..... i had a few other DIY projects going but was getting EXTREMELY frustrated with my spray bar and intake so decided to look into some therapy for my MTS!!!!

..... and here it is.... just the frame so far, thick and sturdy but not too heavy yet..... still needs molding, doors, some hardware, apoxy and paint that i will start on next week..... let me know what you guys think so far.....

..Looks nice and sturdy I like the 3 tank idea..is there enough room for opening the tank hoods on the bottom?

thank you as well..... its actually going to be for 4 tanks.... the 29gal planted i have inside will be put next to the 55gal...
the tanks on the bottom have almost 9" clearance, it just looks close because of the 4" of 2x4 but there is space under the top shelf..... made sure it would be possible to get in the tank and do filter maint..

You left three tanks sitting in the garage? Wow that's some serious will power there. I'm impressed.

Nice!

Reminds me of the time when I was a kid and my mom and dad wanted to get a 55g fish tank, but my dad did not want to pay the price for the stand.

He took a tape measure and took down the dimensions of the stand they liked, went to home depot, bought the materials, and made the same exact stand for a fraction of the cost.

Wish I was that carpentry inclined.
