| He is looking great. His "hair" is filling in nicely from what I can see LOL. Now everything I look at I wonder if I can attach java moss to it. You have definitely started something with this one. |

Sherry- Java Moss is cool to cover clay pots(will grow until you can't see the pot, rocks, wood. The possibilities are endless

Lucy all the fish think he has food hidden in his hair so they are always up there snuffling around but the corys go to sleep then jump and continue hunting LOL It's hilarous to watch.

I love Java Moss because it's so adaptable. It does really well in unheated tanks also but I noticed the fronds(?) grow a little more pronounced.
1) Java moss in unheated tank attached to a small rock.
2) Frond
3) update on Java head man

| heehee you inspired me (-: I remember when this thread was first started thinking that head w. the moss was way too cute...so when I found a similar (plastic) one for sale I couldn't resist
Mine's not a hairnet and the moss still needs some time, but I'm hoping Mr Java Man will have a full head of green hair shortly!
(see Carol, you're starting a trend ) |
