Hey guys,
Forgive me, I know it's been done before but I can't find it..So if you know of the thread please link it. ...It might not even be worth doing it myself but I'm needing two sponge filters rated for 20 gallon if not more. Is it worth it or easier and cheaper to buy??..thanks guys

It's probably easier to buy for something that size...I picked up 2 sponge filters for my 20G tanks for under $6 each and if they are close enough just run them off 1 good air pump.

just put a sponge over your intake of whatever you are using...for some reason I cant find my pic with it on the filter hahah and I dont have my sponge on right now as I have no fry in the tank..but heres a pic of the sponge I slip over when I do have fry and it comes in a block form from your LFS very cheap..cut a hole in the bottom and slip it over DSC02227.jpg
