| upgraded lighting
Well, I finished the lighting project. I went from 30 watts in my 55gal to 110 watts of lighting. It makes all the difference in the world. Ordered some very small box fans to go in my two hoods to remove the heat but may not have to do it. New lighting not generating that much heat but will watch it. As I said in a previous post I used existing double hood lights and just gutted them. Put in new ballasts, sockets and 55w aquarium bulbs. If interested i will post the parts used to make this conversion.
