Tank and sump connected and running

Well at last, the tank and sump are connected.
The plumbing works fine, and dry feet... no leaks!
Still need to do some cleaning and stuff, but I am rapped with how it turned out.
Not the best pics sorry.

Nice work! I would like to see details of your overflow, it looks like you used a T with two intakes. Also you seem to have two outputs -at each end of the tank.

I figure it's saltwater and you have live rock in the bio-chamber of the sump...

Sorry about the cracked glass.

lol. I like the idea of having the sump out of the way, unfortunately I don't think that putting it outside would work around here.
-40*C anyone? There's a windchill to go with it.
lol
love the setup, can't wait to see it finished.

Hi Pepe,
I have attached some pic's that show the OF clearer.
The OF is in the center of the tank, so we placed 2 returns at the back, 1 in each corner.
We will play with the power heads once the LR is in so we can chech that we have good flows.
Yes its a salty, pic showing sump with skimmer during cycle.

Update,
Got about 12kg LR on the weekend, have to wait till more arrives in 10 days time
We are looking at getting another 25kg.
Did some fine tuning on the overflow and its running sweet, not much sound, and a flow rate of about 1800lt per hour.
Stocking so far,
2 x Yellowtail Blue Damselfish
1 x Bi-colour Dottyback
2 x Banggai Cardinal
2 x Clownfish - moved from the nano
2 x Pepermint Shrimp - moved from the nano
1 x Hingeback Shrimp - moved from the nano
1 x Bubble Tip anemone
And some mushrooms
