Anyone print their own DIY aquarium backgrounds?

Hi all!

Was thinking about printing off my own aquarium background for my 15 gal tank. There are sooooo many images on t'internet to choose from, just doing a "coral reef" search in Google images then filtering by size "Extra Large" gives a gazillion possibilities.

Was thinking something along these lines...

Well, if they will put them full-sized on their web page...

Was wondering if anybody has tried this? Any success? I was thinking I could use A4 glossy print paper in my photo printer, and span the image across a few pages to keep it continuous. Would it get wet and soggy very quickly? Hmmm, maybe I could laminate it at work...

Thanks!
Rich.

PS.. obviously I was thinking about a print to stick to the OUTSIDE of the tank...

Lucky you for having a laminator at work. I tried to go to Kinko's to laminate something and it was expensive. (IMHO) I think it is a good idea. You get the final say on what your background is - not some mysterious company. It can be something that brings you peace (or whatever feeling).

Keep us posted with piccys plz!
