broken glass

my brother was going give me his old caman tank i'm not sure of the size but they were playing pool and a ball came off the table and broke a peice of glass do u think i would be possible or worth fixing

Hello, I also have a tank that has a broken end glass and am dying to attept to fix it, my wife is constantly at me to throw it away but I'm sure I can fix it. even though I have 5 other tanks and have sworn off any more,but it seems like such a waste to throw it away, did you ever get any answers yet?

Tips on fixing a crackd tank

Basically, it looks like you the the silicone out of the broken piece of glass, and pull it out (be careful with this). Run a bead of silicone around the edges of the open side of the tank and put the new piece of glass in place. Use duct tape to hold it together for at least 48 hours.
