calling all creative people

okay guys I need a favor, I am sick of my puny 2x64 watt powercompact lights so I will be upgrading to metal halides. but since i will be doing more corals that need more care I want to set up a refugium as well. here is where the problem comes in I already have a 125 gal wetdry running my 55 gal tank..is there anyway to build a seperate refugium and work it in conjuction with my wetdry?? I really don't want to buy a new wetdry with a fuge..so I am trying to figure this out.
thanks in advance

What does the wet/dry look like? Like is it a bought one or one converted from a tank? What other equipement do you have on your tank? A skimmer?

If you have a skimmer and plenty of water flow and live rock you could get rid of the wet/dry and convert it into a refuge. Wet/drys are not used much now days since most people think they become a nitrite factory after a while. I think a refuge would be more benifitial then whatever the wet/dry is doing since it will have a wide range of life cleaning the water then just the bacteria that is in the wet/dry. If you don't want to get rid of the whole wet/dry you could just make the wet/dry smaller and make part of it into a refuge.

Post a picture of the wet/dry and we can come up with better ideas of how to help you more specific.
