I have been told you can glue rocks together using a glue gun anybody know if this is true. I dont want to hurt my fishies.

i wouldnt know about glue guns but ur local walmart has the silicon aquarium glue thats safe and really strong... it just takes like 2-3 days to fully dry.. but hey! for 5 bucks and if u have any leaks to be right there to fix them... its the best!!

Thanks good idea Iam just building a cave of sorts but I should get some just in case I ever spring a leak.

The glue in glue guns won't hurt your fish if you let it dry for 24 hrs but I found it wan't as strong as I needed it to be. Best to go with 100% clear silicone and just have to do the job once. I buy mine at Lowes and got a big tube and use a caulking gun to apply it.

just make sure it's 100% pure silicone. a lot of them will add anti mildew/mold agents
