how many of u all have trade your hand at building your own tank? how did it work out?and what do u recommend

It isn't too hard as long as you're patient. Smallest all glass I have ever built was a 10g and the largest was a 55g.

I have built two tanks from scratch, one my lizzard tank 85 gal and another was for my school it was about 50 gallon with a hand madee filter. Its possible but becaues of the thick glass I used not cheeper. My lizzard tank I wanted a certen size and fish tanks didnt cone in the way i wanted it. It was around 400 I think for everything, glass; sealent; stand; ect.
