I have a 48" Orbit Extreme fluorescent compact light that sits on these tiny little legs about 2 inches from the top of my tank. I would really like to hang the light or get some adjustable mounting legs but cannot seem to find anything anywhere. Maybe because nothing like that exists for these lights. I am wondering if anyone has come up with something wonderful to help life this light instead of having to take it off all the time.

Thanks for responding but It stats they don't have a hanging kit for this particular light. I am just wondering if anyone has found something else that works. I cannot get into my tank without taking my light completely off each time I want to get into my tank.

I'm looking on Current's website and not seeing anything for the Orbit "Extreme". Looks like you will just have to try and make something work.

The only think that I could think of would be to drill holes in the fixture, attach some strong plates to it with hooks for running chain through and hooks in the ceiling, but it would all have to be able to support the weight and looking at the fixture, I'm not sure that you could drill holes in it without damaging it.
