| Yes livebearers can survive that temperature, my friend did exactly what you wanting to do, he kept 10 guppies (3m, 7fm) in 86F for about 5 months before moving them. I'm not sure if his discus were eating the fries but they sure had a taste of the juiciness of the parents, a few got their tails bitten and stuffs, but I think a guppy is too big for a discus to eat whole.
But overall, sure they can survive, but they won't thrive and the high temp will shorten their lifespan, that's what I've read anyway. |
