My boyfriends mother is a fish fanatic. She has about 10 tanks in her house now and we currently have two set up in our home thanks to her. We ran into her at the petstore yesterday and we saw a very nice 135g tank with stand on sale for a very good price. She wants the tank but has no more room for tanks in her home so said she wants to buy it for us. Also said she knows the perfect fish for it, a pair on breeding Discus one of her friends is wanting to sell. I don't know much about these fish and thought I'd ask what type of fish would be good tankmates with the pair.

I was having the idea to maybe take the fish in my 29g tank and put them with the Discus in the 135g. Then just getting rid of the 29g so I won't have so many tanks to care for. (She also is suprising her son with a saltwater tank, which I'll be caring for, so tryin to make sure I don't get too much to care for.)

I know that discus are very picky with water quality and temperature and I think that it is not a good idea to put your african butterfly and rainbow shark in as they are both territorial/aggresive, and angel fish are bordering on the line of compatible or not. If I said something that is incorrect please correct me
