My Ricky blue is very shy and reacts the same way with any new fish to the tank.
If he seems to be doing better almost instantly in the QT, then it may be that he is just stressed out and having a hard time adjusting to the new kids on the block! lol.. I would watch and see if any of the others is overly picking on him and what his reaction is to it. Poor lil guy... he is a cutie for sure, just very shy and timid...
I wish him the best.. and hope that he adjusts. |
Hm, i see what you saying. He was taking an interest in the new discus but the day before i took him out he lost interest in them.

What worried me was when he started to hang in the corner of the tank near the surface or at the bottom and not wanting to move. I knw that they arent very active but this is more less active than usual. Also the darkness doest come and go like it did when he was chasing a fish or stressed. It stayed, getting darker all the time. He still is dark but its kinda getting gray. Do you think its just stress? That would take a load of my mind!
Thanks for complimenting him! He is my fav. However i really cant call this guy shy, why, you should see him chase my big adult angels when its feeding time, lol! I call him Blue Devil!
