Very nice Vakvn! I really love white strains, mainly the white butterflies. And your blue diamonds look great. Its getting tough to find really good quality BDs with red eyes. Nice high fin on that Blue Diamond and the cobalt is outstanding.

Ok guys(vakvn are you a guy?) I was reading an article the other day about Discus and the person writing the article mentioned that the eyes of the Discus in the pic were just the right size. My question is... what can you tell about Discus by looking at the eyes? what is the difference if they are smaller or larger? and what makes them the right size?
Thanks
Carol

Larger usually means a stunted fish. As their eye size compared to their body would be the telling sign. A smaller fish with huge eyes indicates the body hasn't grown any and its probably stunted. Small eyes are always a good sign. Or smaller rather.

You can usually tell, if they look weird its probably weird IMO.

Eye color is just a personal thing, red eyes are preferred but its not something that is looked down upon for health reasons. Just a show aspect.
