Discus Growth 1 month

Thought this would be pretty cool. Well its been a little over a month now since i got my discus i guess. Thought i'd post some comparison pictures. From when i first got them until now. Some pictures might be the same as the discus updates thread, but this is just to show growth/color.

I feed at least twice a day sometimes 3 times a day. Beefheart mix, Frozen Bloodworms, and Misquito Larva. I do 1-2 water changes daily of about 50%.

Wow.

Matt, that's a cool idea.

They look so much more vibrantly colored and one can certainly see growth in several of those fish.

They have amazing colors. The green and orange/brown is very interesting. Do you know what they call that one? Also how old do you think they were when you got them?
I've read that changing the water more often in the growing out stage helps them increase in size. But changing water 50% twice a day is too much for me. Do you have that automated? Very interested to know.

Thanks. Nope i do the WCs by hand.

Which one are you referring to Jess? 1st post 1st fish is an Alenquer. 2nd post 2nd and 3rd fish are Turqs. The 4th fish is a Brilliant Turq the other might be the same, but definitely some variation of turq.

The green colored fella you're holding. Very pretty fish.

I guess it must be a Turq.
